Hmmmmm..... I think you're excited to go to Epcot? It IS really, really cool there! Try to take the ferry across the lake in the World Showcase area- Aleks loved it! She also LOVED the dining with princesses. It was one of the best parts of our trip and I know you will love it too Piper!

Just a quickie update tonight, as I'm not for this world too much longer! For some reason I have a headache, and soon as Piper's meds are finished up, I'm off for bed!

So the great leggings search was a success..we found some at Cato..a regional store that mostly carries women's clothing and about 6 sq ft of girls, lol. We found capri length ones, and picked her up a white pair, and a gray pair. I'll wash them if I need to. :

I don't know what it is about travelling, but somehow I always think we need way more snacks than we actually will. We went to Kroger today to get food for Gram's furbaby, and of course, had to cruise the aisles since we don't have a Kroger in our small town! We scored dark choccy covered raisins, trail mix with fruit, nuts, and m & m's --color Piper happy--, Wasa crackers and brownie bites. I'll bag them in individual sizes, and we'll use them on the flight as well as at the parks for snacks. : I had already bought Tinkerbell fruit snacks, so we'll have those as well. Hmm..Piper will have them anyway..I think they're .

On the other park bag necessity list..we have a travel first aid kit, ponchos, a mini-umbrella, lysol wipes, handi-wipes, and antibacterial hand gel! Piper has separated her pins into "keepers" and "traders" and put the traders on a lanyard. She'll put her keepers on her GKTW lanyard. We also have a quick stop at the Emporium planned first thing to score some locking pin backs. I'll also either take the passporter or a small notebook into the park, along with her autograph books. Can you tell why I'm taking a backpack?

I have ambitious update plans for tomorrow night, to make up for tonight, so be sure to check back! Almost 3 days!!!!

I hear you on the snacks. I have actually stopped buying them for trips after I carted them in the van on a 3600 mile road trip and no one ever ate them....

yet they demolish them at home, can't keep them stocked.

I didn't carry them last year in the parks and no one ever even asked...guess they are growing up.

See, Piper will eat on a roadtrip anytime, esp when she knows we won't be buying food. We usually pack a picnic when we drive to WV to meet her Dad, and things to munch on in the car. : We always do have too much though! We're excited too!

Its a completely different and wonderful experience than sitting anywhere else. Also, if you like simulator rides, there's a new ride in Innovations called sum of all thrills where you get to learn math and physics and make your own ride and then actually ride it!

We received an unexpected package from kayrosek (Krystal) yesterday, Piper was so excited she wanted to open it before we get home! So she opened it in the office where she does her homebound schooling....

Reading the letter:

Oh my goodness...it's I-Carly!

A very pretty butterfly box...

A Princess game set with Bingo, Crazy 8's, and a puzzle!

And last but not least, a group picture!

There were also Tinkerbell stickers and pencils, colored pencils, a very cute beaded necklace, a Tink pencil box, a Tink Pez dispenser. Her youth group at church had also made lots of cards for Piper, which she had loved!! Also enclosed was a picture frame for me..it's glass and has the words hope and believe on it!

Krystal, thank you so much . We loved everything that was enclosed, and I can't wait to find the perfect picture for the frame, hopefully one of us in front of the castle! :

Edited to Add: Piper is not hypoxic in the pictures...she had just finished a blue lollipop!

Here are the shirts Maroo sent for us..we love them! Piper took the one of me, so it's a little weird, but everything is there that should be..ie..the top of my head is present..

And now...yes...I have started packing in earnest...here's a picture of the purse I'm taking..I was originally taking it as a park bag, but I'm pretty sure all our stuff is not going to fit! Also a document organizer my Aunt also got us for all her medical info, tickets, MAW ppwk, etc. And last but not least, the travel organizer Gram got me for an early birthday present..I had wanted one for quite a while to keep packed for the hospital, and she figured this was the perfect time!

And our last pic of the night....Pins!! In addition to the pins people had sent to Piper, mousepinsoline also sent her pins and a lanyard. I had contacted them at Maroo's suggestion before she started getting pins, and they sent her another 23!!! and a lanyard!

Believe it or not, no butterflies! I am excited about it, but no nervousness..my Aunt brings Piper and I to Maine every few yrs on vacation, so I'm used to the whole airport thing with all the meds and equipment. The oxygen concentrator is a new addition, but I have the ppwk I need, so not stressing about that either! I may change my tune on Monday though!

The sad part is..I didn't even think about it until Camille and I were talking on the phone while I was updating, she saw the piccie and I mentioned something about the lollipop..we both ended up just roaring laughing! I believe her comment was something to the effect of..."You know..blue lips on a kid with CF is not a good sign" I hadn't even given it a thought! So I added the comment so no one would worry! Maybe I should the lollipop comment at the beginning of the post.. Nah, more fun to see what other comments we get! *mean Mommy* I can't believe it's two days!!
