Liesa..it does feel very good to feel like I'm making a dent, I just wish it didn't take me so long to upload pics. I've got prob another 8-10 updates to post before I'm completely done! I have envelopes to pick up tomorrow, so I'm trying to get as many done as possible before then..lol.

I bet you can't wait to get there...this snow is driving all of us crazy! I hope you guys get lots of comfy warm weather. (DS isn't feeling well so I'm only popping in on occasion.) I'll check back later...oh, and don't let the ultimate packing list scare you (it did me too ). I was able to delete about 1/3 of it. Happy packing!

The next package came from Cynthia (eandesmom), we were very excited to open it!

There were even personalized tags on the gifts!

Awesome personalized tees for the trip featuring...penguins! We all loved them..here are a pic of Piper and a pic of me modelling...just keep in mind this was literally the day we drove home from the hospital!

There was also an awesome personalized activity book for the plane..Cynthia made a word search and a crossword themed to Piper's trip, and also sent another pin!

Now..Gram is unfortunately not one to "model" per se, but I'll be sure to get a pic the day we wear them that includes all three of us! She'd also enclosed a cute pair of navy shorts to match for Piper..Cynthia..we love the shirts so much..thank you for the time you put into them to have Piper's name on them, she was over the moon!

The next package came from Linnette, I don't know her Disname and am hoping she'll chime in on the thread!

A Princess dress! It even has ruffles!

Another one ?!?!! This one is a two piece set :

One more..because I loved the back of this one!

There was also matching jewelry to go with the princess dress, I hope it shows in the picture, and a princess coloring set. Piper loved the dresses so much, Linnette, we're thinking Akershus for the Princess dress, it's perfect! Thank you so much for the work you put into them, we love them! (Piper is reading over my shoulder and says "hi" )

Jessica, thank you so much! A normal family prob wouldn't have thought about the infusion thing, but Piper stays on so many meds..LOL. I was just afraid that either I or my mom had lost a note! I'm glad it wasn't that. At any rate, we LOVE the petti-skirt, and I did notice the drawstring waist, which is awesome! Let me ask you though..when I wash it, should I just throw it in a pillowcase? I do that with a lot of delicates and it seems to work well, but I wasn't sure?

You're welcome! About washing: I'm not 100% sure. I asked around on the disboards and most said to wash by hand. The nylon chiffon is pretty delicate. Maybe someone with one could give some other ideas?? I made a white one for my daughter and with her being small and sitting on the ground all the time it is pretty dirty! Even managed to tear a small part of it (although I could fix that). Piper will probably be a bit easier on it!

This next package came from themoonksmom! I was very curious to open it after Piper rattled it and it sounded so solid..LOL!

Opening it:

So soft...this was a very cute pillow with a quilted top, you can see it better further down! :

Ohh..a fun kit! It had tops, a yo-yo, and a mini paddle ball..Piper was enthralled with it...

until she opened this!

A wonderful colored-pencil roll-up. This was so appropriate for her..she isn't a big crayon girl anymore, but she loves colored pencils!

Here's a group shot, the package also had Hannah Montana magnets!

Thank you so much Kim & Katie, Piper loved everything, and the tops come out on a daily basis. We've put away the roll-up for the trip as Piper is good at losing things like colored pencils and markers!

This package came from Shannon, she didn't put her disname on it, hopefully she'll chime in as well. : It was very soft and squishy, we were clueless!
Ohh...a blanket...

It's got Mickey!!! And her name!!

Shannon, not a day has gone by since she opened it that Piper hasn't used the blanket, it's just the right weight while she's in the chair doing her meds. Someone else might have even stolen it once Piper's in bed to use on the couch! : We love it, and the quality of the embroidery is just unbelievable. Thank you so much!

It makes me so happy to see her smiles in all of these pictures...there sure are some really talented people here on the Dis making her outfits!

I am so glad she liked all of the stuff. Katie had a good time making the pillow and I enjoyed watching her sew for someone else. This was her first Big Give and can't wait for the next.

A glow-bear..this was too cute, and very appropriate so close to Valentine's Day

Piper loved all the goodies, there was also a slide puzzle, princess markers, a beautiful autograph book that I thought I had taken a picture of..I'll get one and add it to my next miscellaneous post..the pages were all printed with the characters on them, and a blank space above them to add a picture! Thank you so much for the pixie dust, quite a few of the things will be going with us!

Allison, that is so sweet! Piper was reading over my shoulder with a neb in her mouth and started blushing when she read that! She loved the goodies, the bear is on display, and she reeally likes the slide puzzle too, we've done it several times.
