LOL Melissa...we don't have any stores like that around us, so I'm all about finding reasons to hit them! It's like a little celebration when we get to go to Tar-jaaaay or TJ Maxx...

This next package came from BillWendy. We had actually pm'ed back and forth some, so I knew a bit of what to expect...

What's inside?

A Disco Mickey print skirt! Very cute...and to match...

But wait..there's more!

This is a close-up from the beautiful white sweatshirt she sent for Piper that she can wear now!

And even something for Mommy..(there was also one for Gram, and I will make sure to get a pic of her wearing it..hers was a light orange color)

I love that all of our tee-shirts match the colors in the Disco Mickey fabric. Piper had actually seen this fabric on e-bay and loved it, so when Wendy mentioned she had it, we knew exactly which one she was talking about. She was veeeeery excited to see it in the skirt!

And now..modelling...

Wendy, everything you sent is beautiful, and fits both of us so well. I'll be sure to get pics of all of us together modelling in the parks! Thank you so much for taking the time. Piper is just waiting to wear the sweatshirt, but has decided she shouldn't wear it until the trip or after it! LOL. Gotta love kids.

I got a pm from a very generous Dis'er last night offering to pick up the cost for Piper to get her makeover done at BBB and was able to book an appt for her this morning! She was totally excited and is soooo looking forward to it. I continue to be amazed by what is virtually the "kindness of strangers" although none of you feel like strangers to either of us, more like a part of our extended family. It's hard for me sometimes to accept the help we've been given gracefully and not decline out of....I don't know..pride? embarassment? But at the same time I know these things are going to make the trip even better for Piper, and I've been trying to keep that in the forefront when those feelings start to kick in. So to everyone who has helped make our trip better (which basically means all of you).. thank you, again. I do have something special planned for thank you's when we get back, but I feel like I could never say it enough, so hopefully you all won't get tired of reading it over and over again!

Along with the fun stuff for Piper, Mary had also enclosed a gift card for Rainforest Cafe, which was totally unexpected. As always, I totally teared up as Piper opened everything..Mary, you and your family did such a great job picking things out, Skipper the penguin has taken his place next to Waddles on her bed, and the gift card was so thoughtful and unexpected! Thank you so much!!!

Wowee wowee wowzers! You guys are sooooo blessed and lucky!!! Your going to have a blast and a half! Aleks wanted to do the BBB when we went too, but we couldn't afford it either. I kinda hope she will get to do it on our next trip, but we canceled this years trip already - so i dunno. I think Aleks understands the being broke part, but it hurts just the same when you're always told no i am sure. At least on your trip there won't have to be too many "no's"! I know Aleks wants to do the pirate "treasure hunt" trip too. That kid can't decide between a pirate or princess!

I'm glad Piper was gifted a trip to the BBB...I did it with 2 friends who are also 40-something and we had a blast! When I returned 2 weeks later with my girls the FGIT remembered us! There isn't specifically a Jasmine-do, but the one with the hair extension can have her crown added...my middle DD chose this one and we still use it for q fancier night out. The photopass guys are there, so you'll get plenty of pics, which I know you'll share!

Hey Piper!! you looked awesome in your disco Mickey skirt and top!!! you will rock the parks in that outfit!! And Mom and Grandmom too!!! Hey - you gotta wear the sweatshirt now so you can tell people about your trip
!! I also wanted you to know that once I took a light colored shirt (like our sweatshirt ) to disney and got the characters to autograph it with Sharpie markers!! It was so totally cool!! You just cant be wearing it when they sign it!!

So, you are going to give me the low down when you get home so I can make sure Daniel enjoys everything when we are there, right? All the tips you can thing of!! Things you didnt expect and things not to miss!!!

Thank you, she can be very adorable, my trick for some pics is telling her something to laugh at right before I take the pic.. ie.. "imagine you met Aladdin and he said he was dumping Jasmine so he can marry you". It does the trick every time.
