Glad you got out before the next installment of snow heads your way. We may even have some down here before long! lol.... of course, our idea of a snow storm is like, 2 inches..... and still people freak out and soooo can't drive! They also buy the makings of french toast- like that's going to help them if the power goes out or other such southern snow nonsense! lol!
Have fun with the new freedom Piper and I will have Aleks write you an e-mail soon.... she is currently cleaning her room, or is supposed to be cleaning.... I think she is ---> if she isn't cleaning though, her birthday weekend will be hindered by cleaning her room then!

Just a quickie as my internet is going in and out like people in a Mexican bathroom with Montezuma's revenge! We are home, and have opened about 7!! more packages! (Have I mentioned how blessed we feel by all of you who've taken Piper into your hearts and thoughts?) I did take a LOT of pictures, and then lost about 8 of them..(Not even going there right now!) Thank you all for the welcome backs. Piper is doing meds and off to bed, and I don't know that I'm going to be terribly far behind her. Tomorrow I'll try to find out what's going on with my phone line..it may just be a weather thing? I did get Jeepie half unpacked, and will unpack the rest tomorrow..you would have thought we were there for a month..oh wait.. At any rate, I can't wait to get all caught up with everyone, and all the pics!

Big Give Frenzy!

We were abundantly blessed with Big Give packages and pixie dust while Piper was in the hospital. I'll try to get them all online by the end of the weekend, but I think there were about 14 total that I need to post, so please bear with me. I am going to try to get to Gram's at some point for a few hours, it goes much quicker on her broadband than it does on my dial-up. I'm going to post them in no particular order (just like they were opened, lol),and am going to do my best to put the right pics with the right descriptions! Hooray for being an uptight Mommy who takes tons of notes!

We were very excited with each and every package, and they truly helped the hospital time go quicker and also helped to keep us more upbeat than we may have been otherwise. Without further ado...

She looks so cute in the dress, and it's perfect for SeaWorld. For someone who hasn't sewn a lot of dresses, you did a great job! Piper and I both love it!The boys did a great job helping you to pick out the fabric, and Piper loved being able to see a pic of the wonderful people who sent it!

As you know I'm thrilled your home (we talked like teenagers on the phone yesterday ) and I love the dress! Dawn did an outstanding job!!! This will be a great dress to go to Sea World in!! Also a good one to wear in the summer when it's nice and warm.
