I have brown eyes, not a big fan of Pink but like Purple...that is close to pink, right?, HATE pickels too, although I love pizza, I think I like chocolate better, I love science (and math), LOVE WDW, soccer, but I am not much of a princess girl...I like Stitch...he is so full of mischief!

I know, I love red eye reduction editing! My current dilemma is getting pics of her where there's no reflection from her glasses! I have her take them off a lot of the time!

Have her try to tip her head a little up or down, that sends the reflection off in another direction. I wore glasses (contacts now) when I was a kid, and my mom had the same struggles. But you never knew it until you blew the $$ on developing. Lots of my school pics have me looking like Little Orphan Annie with the blank white eyes.

After Piper had homebound today we headed to town to hit Wal-Mart and CVS..it was sooooo nice to get out of the house! We'd been stuck in for 4 days because of the cold weather!! So we get all our errands done and go to Gram's for dinner..and what do we find waiting for us?? Only our first Big Give package!! I briefly considered waiting until after our Dr's appt tomorrow, thinking it would be fun to celebrate with if she wasn't admitted, and might give her a boost if she was....but I couldn't do it!! I was unprepared because I hadn't brought my camera with me, but we remedied that when we got home. We get all our mail at Gram's because someone lost our mailbox key in the 2 yrs we were renovating! : And the landlord wants $100 for a new key. Well..I'd rather go to Gram's to get our mail than fork out the bucks, so there we go!

I instantly recognized the return addy from.... Dawnbu40 and PrincessCaitlin!! I don't know who was more excited, me or Piper! You all are going to have to forgive me..since it takes so long for me to upload, I took a group pic of most of the items, with one exception Also I just went ahead and left them large..after an hour of uploading, I wasn't up to an hour of editing! This way you can see more detail anyway!

Piper pulled the first package off the top and there was a note for me! I wasn't expecting that and was sooo pleased to see an Eeyore themed journal for me to take trip notes with! It is totally adorable, and I love it..thank you two soooooo much! It will be put to good use!

Piper took over from there and she was just glowing as she opened each gift! It was totally cute because she kept saying with each one.."I'm saving this for when we go to Disney!" There was beautiful glittery nail polish in three colors and a princess case.. princess tattoos...mini card games that will be perfect for the plane...headbands...lip gloss and even a Princess message board! There were a couple things she was not all about saving! She started to open a very small package, both of us were wondering what it could be.. it was an Aladdin as a child pin!! It is way cute, and the first words out of her mouth were.. "I am NOT trading this pin! I'm keeping it!!!" She absolutely loved it. Then looking deeper into the box something caught her eye...it was a beautiful color of baby blue...a Cinderella nightgown! She was ready to put it on right then and there, but I convinced her to wait until we got home and could take pictures!

You can see by the grin on her face how much she loved it! It's hard anymore to get a picture of her with a genuine smile, and she's just glowing! It looks soooo cute on her!


Dawn and Caitlin..thank you so very much. I was totally in tears, but I wasn't surprised, I wish you could have seen in person how Piper's face lit up with every gift. We had gotten in the jeep and were on the way home, and she says.."Mommy..that was such a great Big Give..I'm so happy. It was so nice for them to send those things for me." I replied "And just think Piper, that was just the first package." I wish I could have seen her face, because out of her mouth comes.. "You mean there's more?" I could just hear the awe in her voice as she said that. What you guys are doing makes such a big difference..so thank you, again. Piper is going to post her own thanks tomorrow

**Excuse her flat hair, lol..with her port accessed we only wash it about twice a week since the port can't get wet!
