Pipe burst/Water Damage!!!

My sister had a water pipe burst in her house while on vacation which pretty much ruined her entire Disney collection (along with the rest of the house.) Any ideas on where she might look to determine value of the Disney collectable merchandise so she can report it in her insurance claim? I love Disney and collect for my own enjoyment but I have no idea how to tell her to determine the value of such a collection. Any ideas appreciated.

Have her try www.antiquecast.com. It will give her the value from several diffent auction sites.

First I have to say, UGH! What a nightmare!

I would suggest that you go to Barnes & Noble (or any large book chain) and browse through the collectible's guides. Tomart's in particular has some great Disney publications that may be useful.

Hopefully, you'll find the pricing info that you're looking for.
