Anyone been? My sister and I would love to visit next summer for a weekend. We've never been to Oklahoma. We would be flying into Tulsa(that's the closest airport).

My sister has and enjoyed it but she lives within couple of hours so driving over to have lunch and shop was a nice day trip. In her opinion, not worth a plane ticket.

Are there other things in Tulsa that you would enjoy? Like maybe plan it when there is a great concert at the BOK Center.

I've been to and through Oklahoma often. It's fine but again, I doubt I'd fly all that way for something that would fill an afternoon, at best.

I live about an hour from there but haven't been yet. Several of my friends have, though.

They say it is a neat building and the restaurant is good, but it's very busy and one friend said they felt the gift shop stuff was overpriced.

It's about an hour's drive to Pawhuska from Tulsa. If you do make the trip, I'd recommend a stop at Woolaroc, it's about 30 min from Pawhuska.

We would probably only be flying in Friday, spending the day around, then going there on Saturday- flying home Sunday. My DH and DD are going to China for a few weeks during that time on a school "field trip", so my sister wanted to do something. We love her show!!

Thanks!! Will look into it!

We went and the food was really good but I was very disappointed in the merchandise. Very restoration hardware-ish type items and way overpriced dishes and clothing. There was also very little by way of branded items (I'm a sucker for fridge magnets and travel mugs) so I didn't buy anything but lunch. They hadn't been open very long when I went and it was very crowded so I hope the merchandise gets better.

I did however stop On the highway out of town and take a picture underneath the huge Drummond Ranch gate LOL

I've been following her since she was just a mommy vlogger so I was a fan before the cookbooks or food network show.

It's worth a trip if you're in the area and like her show. They are doing more to attract people to the area as far as shops, and there's talk of a boutique hotel so if it's going to revitalize a small town I'm all for it.

I live in a suburb north of OKC so it's only a hour and a half to get there so a nice half day trip. Would probably visit again.

Thanks for your response! I definitely want to get a pic by the ranch sign too. Lol

I would love to see the building and try the food. I figured that the merchandise would be high. At least she is creating jobs in the area. I have only been to Tulsa once. My impression is a whole different thread....:rotfl:

I have looked up the ranch on google earth. Glad to hear the food is good.

The prices of her merchandise seem high to me in general, even her items at War-Mart seem over priced to me. I think she has a new jeans line also and I was excited, but I think they were like $60.

I was wondering about the jeans she wears. Where did you see them?
