It's been 5 years since our last trip. Do people, adults, still where pin lanyards?

Actually, we've seen very few wearing lanyards the last couple trips, Nov. 2019 and 2021.

In a week's stay this past November, I doubt I saw more than a dozen the entire time. Perhaps there'd be more when schools aren't in session? We go before Thanksgiving.

I don't even bother loading and wearing a lanyard much anymore. Why bother when so few others do? It's discouraging.

Not many lanyards, they went out with Covid for the CMs, but quite a few of the stores have a pin board.

My personal theory is that with so many special Magic Bands, those may have become the fashionable thing. Not so much messing with them necessary. Buy 2-3 and you've a variety for far less than pins cost.

Also, there are pin trading boards at resort check-in desks at the concierge section oftentimes. Ask there to see the board.

I saw adults this month wearing pin lanyards for sure. But I don’t know if it was an increase or decrease from the past.
