Pins/Buttons on the Airplane

Hi all! I was hoping to put cute pins & buttons on the boys' fanny packs for our upcoming trip. Since they will be bringing the packs onto the plane, will I need to leave them off?? Thanks!!

No we have taken DDs trading pins and a few 1st time buttons from the park as carry-on with no problem.

We always bring pins back and forth on Spirit and never had a problem yet.. My pin bag goes in the suitcase but I have also carried on several in my Carry On luggage..

It's funny - you wouldn't think pins would be allowed but they are!

So, I boarded the plane with about 20 sharp pins on my lanyard, but they made me throw away my Ponds Cold Cream
