It looks like our Disney Store (which was totally redesigned and looks great, btw!) is now selling pins again. Does anyone know how often teh stores get new issues?

So far, I've seen one pin and one pin set that were there twice over a couple of visits, one that was there during the first visit and one that was there during the second visit, so it looks like they'll be getting new pins in on some sort of schedule. The workers were being rushed off their feet when I was in last, so I thought I'd ask you guys...... ok, ok, I was also with my kid and forgot about asking when we got to the register. :earsboy:

Hey there,
To answer your question: No, pins are not released on any kind of schedule. Generally speaking, Disney stores have no idea when pins are being sent until they show up in shipment. The most recent pins- since October- were the Cindy carriage pin, pin set of 4, Santa Mickey and now a new winnie the pooh pin.

Hope this helps. :flower:

It does help, though I guess it means checking in at the store instead of making scheduled trips. LOL

Thanks!

Wow -- does this mean that Disney Stores are carrying pins again, generally speaking? Are they also doing pin-trading?

YW pezpam.

Kitty-chan, it seems like it may be the case although I wouldn't expect any big series like the Magical Musical Moments or what have you. Before the recent influx of pins since October, it was fairly sporadic that the DS would get pins. There was the pin for the Incredibles and some other random releases, but it seemed more like a testing if there was still a market for it kind of thing.

As far as pin trading within the stores and such, it seems fairly unlikely as pins aren't really as hyped or as regularly released in big sets or series as in the past.

For a Pinpics search by pin #
Pooh: Pin 42883
Cindy's carriage: Pin 41454
Santa Mickey: Pin 42323
Pin set: Pin 42302

Hope that helps
