We are just back from a week and I've seen a few threads here and there inquiring about the availability of PinQuest - it is still alive and kicking! We ended up going to 2 different MNSSHP and did PinQuest during our second party. It isn't really time consuming, just the matter of walking to the different locations. They still had plenty of maps and pins from what I could see.
We started in Fantasyland and the Circus Tent (at the Lion window) and I will forewarn you that in some of the shops, it seems there are only a couple of CM's who are trained on it. We had a really good time and with the 20% AP discount, it made it a lot easier on the pocketbook - approximately $12 for the lanyard with medal, $8.50 per pin for 6 pins, and $4 for the completer pin.
And if you are in the Briar Patch or Frontierland Trading Post, keep an eye out for CM Jon Barry (I remember partly because he had both names on his name tag) - he might be one of the nicest, most helpful, and most enthusiastic CM's I've encountered in awhile!
