I posted a request to have a search widget made for Firefox, that lets you search pinpics from your browser. I have wanted this for YEARS!
The folks on the Mozilla development site were nice enough to make one for us!
If you use firefox you can go here: http://mycroft.mozdev.org/search-engines.html?name=pinpics to get the search engine. It will be added to the search box in the upper right - to the right of where you type a website in your browser.
Once set up, click the drop down, you will see the pinpics logo. Select that one, and type in the text of the pin you want to search.
It will search Pins and Pin Accessories - basically this page:
http://pinpics.com/cgi-bin/browse.cgi?type=a&cl1=on&cl4=on
Search engine widgets let you search from your browser, and you don't have to open an extra page, load it, and then run the search.. basically, it saves a step. I'm a geek, but this will save me so much time! I figured I would post here, as I'm sure there are others who will enjoy it too!
