Pinocchio release...does anyone care? Will it affect the ride?

I cannot wait for this to be released on Tuesday. I don't know that the DVD release will affect the attraction, which is my second favorite dark ride in Fantasyland. I love the clocks at the end and the Blue Fairy effect is cool.

I like the clocks (& the whole room) at the end as well, Jedi Knight. I wish I could take a ride on Alice & Pinocchio some time at 1/4 speed so i can check out all the details.

& Mars, my feelings regarding my first ride on DLR's Toady (almost 3 years ago) was similar to yours (having missed Toad from WDW). Nothing finer than an irreverant, Mr. Magoo driving Toad. :thumbsup2

I've always liked the ride, but I imagine it's scarey for younger kids so that probably keeps the lines down. I don't think that the release of the movie will change anything...but then again, maybe kids won't be so nervous about the ride once they see the movie....ya know? :confused3

I should clarify that I really do enjoy Pinocchio's Daring Adventure. Heck, I like if for no other reason than once I've ridden it I have "Hi-Diddle-Dee-Dee" in my head for a good few hours.

I love Pinocchio because of this song. If we go on the ride when it is empty, we sing along at hte top of our lungs.

I love the clocks at the end and the Blue Fairy effect is cool.

I love the room at the end and seeing all the clocks and such too. I am always amazed by the detail.

Anyone else looking forward to the movie. & does anyone think the often ignored ride might see a little "bump" in activitiy?
I can't wait for next week! I've had the Blu-ray of Pinocchio on order for months now. (As you probably guessed, it's my favorite Disney film.)

And, yes, I think the ride will get a bump in activity. Lots of kids right now don't know much about Pinoke, Jiminy, Stromboli, Pleasure Island, and Monstro. But that is about to change, and I expect the ride will benefit from their increased awareness.
