Anybody watch the AFI New Top 100 films last night? The list originally had (from 9 years ago) Snow White, Fantasia & Pinocchio.

On the new list, Fantasia & Pinocchio dropped out of the Top 100. (But Toy Story moved into the Top 100).

It was a good show & I agree with most of the list (lots of 70's movies on it). If i was to compile one it would probably have 85-90 of the ones that they have on it. But.....

Pinocchio (& Mary Poppins) would be in my Top 100. :yay:

They dropped Fantasia  WOW. I think it should have stayed and Mary Poppins added to the list too. I think some of the movies they picked were good but there were a few that were duds to me at least ;)

I'd put Pinocchio in my personal Top Ten. It's my favorite animated movie of all time (as if you couldn't tell).

I'm not that upset about Fantasia dropping off the list. However, in additon to Mary Poppins (which I prefer over Sound of Music), I'd have liked to see Beauty and the Beast make the grade.

We have similar tastes, LittleWoodenHead. ( & Cool Avatar, BTW :thumbsup2)

How could they have dropped Pinocchio? The art of that film is magnificent. When you really take the time to look at it ….well I guess I just find it fascinating. LOVE the Indian pipes! Pleasure Island. Oh well… to each their own.
