Pinnochio Refurb?

So Pinnochio is currently closed for a refurb until Aug 14th- it's scheduled to open up Aug 15th. Problem is DH and I leave Aug 15th and won't be in the park that day.

What are the odds they may do a "soft opening"? I know it's hit or miss and no guarantees- just depends on if the finish early, but in your experiences how often do they do that?

I know a few yrs back when POTC re-opened with all the new changes they reopened 2 or 3 days early.....but thats been my only experience w/ refurbs.

This is very different than the PotC refurb a couple years ago. That was a very extended refurb with new additions. This is just a normal fixer upper refurb. That being said, the dates for the refurb are pretty specific because they basically know how long it will take to do all of their small tweaks. However, it is possible that it will open up a day in advance. I wouldn't expect it to be open, but be pleasantly surprised if it is.
