Pinkerbell1983 Planning Journal - Wedding Pavilion - Whitehall Room - May 18th 2009

Hi

I'm very excited to finally startmy planning journal!!! I am 24, from the Uk and have been with myboyfriend for 8 years and we've been engaged since May (although I did start planning the wedding before this!)

I first visited Disney World in 2003 and fell in love!!! After seeing the wedding Pavilion, I realised I wanted to get married there and began looking at weddings on the internet, although it wasn't til april this year that I decided that i was definatley getting married here (luckily my boyfriend agreed, he loves Disney a much as me!!!) Since we had already planned a trip to disney next may anyway, we decided to combine it with a wedding.

So the date is May 18th 2009 at 5pm. Im soooo excited!!!!!!

I talked to my planner and because I wanted an outdoor area for my reception, he suggested the Whitehall room and patio at the grand floridian. I love this room and also like the idea of being able to walk over to the reception from the ceremony.

Everyone elses pj's have helped me loads while i've been planning so thats why i thought i'd start my own. I don't really have any plans set in stone yet, but I've already booked randy chapman after all the wonderful recomendations from you guys. My colour theme is going to be yellow, but I haven't seen many yellow disney weddings so Im unsure of flowers etc, can anyone help?

Hi caroline!!

I have just started looked at DFTWs for 2011, and WP followed by WR is my ideal plan too!!

Can't wait to hear all about your plans etc.

How many people will you have going? As a UK bride too I'm worried about what people will say when they realise the wedding's going to be so far away!

Congratulations! We are also using the WP and WHR, 09/03/2009. We visited the Whitehall room yesterday as it was being set up for a wedding. It is really much nicer in person than I could've imagined from photos! I can't wait to hear more of your plans!

I just read the name...:confused3 ....Your an old friend, but congrats again! I just posted those photos of the WHR in my PJ!

Hi Carloine...Congrats! I am looking foward to hearing your plans.

Hi guys thanks for posting.

I actually re started my PJ in the PJ section, but I don't know how to delete this one. Any idea's?

oops, sorry, I was looking on google for WHR and your thread was top of the search list. So I commented!!

auntpunkin I'm off to look at the photos now! It's hard to find many WHR ones!

:goodvibes It's ok, I didn't know there was a seperate thread for PJ' so I started it here, and then I realised. It is hard to find whitehall pics, I have some on the computer but I can't post them because they're saved as word documents. Do you want me to email them? PM me your email address if you do. Jessesgirl (I think that's right) also has some great whitehall pics. There is a link to them in her PJ.

Hi Pinkerbell,

How is it going??

I am not much further at the moment, but the planner called last night. Unfortunately I was stuck at work :sad1: so I will call her back tonight.

We go in 10 days so hopefully we just need to arrange a time to meet up whilst we are there.

We are going to look at the pavilion and WHR whilst we are there so will take lots of pics if you want me to send you some?? Also hoping to look at the Attic. Anywhere else let me know and I will try and get some photos.

Going dress shopping when I get back, have fallen deeply in love with a Maggie Sotterro dress so need to find somewhere that has it in!

Other than that, all going well.

Mel

Hi
This is my other PJ that I started in the wrong place. I'm hoping to get it deleted so post on the other one please :goodvibes

That would be great if you could take some pics of the whitehall room, and if you go around to that area, of sago cay pointe? Doesn't matter if you don't. Thanks
