Pink sun spot on forehead

Not cancerous, just want to say that off the top. But curious if anyone has gotten a very light pink sun spot on forehead and if you were able to do anything to get rid of the pinkness and return it to your normal skin color? I have brown skin.

Size of spot: half the size of a pencil eraser

The only thing I can think of is to use liberal amounts of sunscreen on it and concealer. It should fade in time. It sounds like you got it checked. That's a good idea.
