Pink or White shoes??

I'm going shoe shopping this weekend and can't decide what color to get. I'm doing my whole wedding in pink. My dress is white, but I dyed my slip pink, here's pics:

I like the pink shoes, but is it tacky?? And will I look back on pics and think "What was I thinking?? " Should I just go with boring white???

I would say white because it will pop more with the pink crinoline. However, you could add a pink accent to them to make it less "boring". Like taking pink ribbon and crossing it over the toe of the shoe or even over your foot. It would be far easier to find a matching pink ribbon or material than trying to find the right shoe to not clash with your crinoline.

Hey Angela!

I love the pink shoes!!!! (Yes I had to underline that!) The rest of your get up is white - the pink really stands out with your crinnie.

If I thought I could walk in shoes like that I would have those.

Hi Angela...my favoritecolor!!!

I would say yes to the shoes because the slip is going to be the overlay on top of them and it will definitely flow. If you are unsure buy a pair of regular shoes that are the same pink and try them on with the dress before going out and having a pair dyed. They make so many heels in that color pink.

Oh my gosh go for the pink!!! I don't think it's tacky.. it's different, modern, and creative! I got so many compliments on my shoes... and my slip... take a peek!

I loved it and wouldn't change it for the world!

Oh.. and unless you're dancing around like I was in the picture, you can't see the pink! So, it's a like you can still look elegant and put together and then you start dancing and it's like... "oh yes.. personality!!! ". That's my 2 cents.

Go for the pink! They are fun and interesting, and no one is gonna see the shoes anyway, so go for something out there!

If a bunch of years from now you look back and see the pics and your daughter says "Mom why did you do that?" You can just tell her "That was the style then." That's what my mom tells me when I pic on her and her picture hats!!! (but when I was looking at DF's mothers wedding photos-SHE HAD THE SAME HATS!!! )

I had the same dilemma! Even went so far as to buy pink shoes, which I now built my entire dessert party ensemble around. LOL! I even dyed my crinoline pink. But I found gorgeous silver shoes and went with those for under my wedding gown. I DEFINITELY say go for the PINK! Those shoes are absolutely GORGEOUS!

Go for pink. I used blue shoues and had a blue necklace and orange flowers because I wanted different unique, modern and not bridey. I think it will look bridey with the white shoes, and unique and modern with the pink. Depends on what look you want....

Go for the pink. I was really mixed between the two. I did a pink crinnie and white shoes but I would have loved to do pink.

I LOVE the pink shoes!!! Although our wedding doesn't have pink in it it is my favorite color so my shoes are going to be hot pink as well as soon as I find a pair I like!!

Definitley pink shoes!! My colors were purple and silver and I did silver shoes. One of our favorite pics is of DH and I on the WP beach with my silver shoes and purple bouquet in the sand way in front of us - at the time I thought our photog was nuts - but the pic is too cute! And like everyone else said - you don't see them in any of the other wedding shots, except the one where I look like I'm running to the WP I'm so excited on my way in!
