WOW! this is better than I thought it would be.....a potential of up to 15.00 per item! And I'm just happy get the little freebies I sign up for from the freebie thread! this really makes my day! I think I will put my little "bonus" checks in my change jar after cashing them for some fun spending money! YAY!!!!

How often do the emails come inviting you to take the surveys?

Actually I've had one survey pay $100 and two others pay $50, the $100 took me about 5 hours to complete, you did it in 4 sections. I've also had numerous free sample w/follow-up survey. It seems the more I write in the comment boxes , the greater the chance of the sample.

Thanks for the info and tip! I'll keep that in mind when filling out the surveys!

I had one of them for $100 (might have even been $150) and it took me about 3 hours, including all of the online surveys. I had to make a video tape which was sent to a firm in Manhattan, then I had to discuss it with them on the phone for about 30 minutes.

That particular study wasn't worth the time and aggrevation to me. I didn't enjoy it at all.

People post links in forums all the time

And those that do really put their Pinecone membership at risk. ::yes:: Please believe me. My membership was "mysteriously" terminated simply because I e-mailed Pinecone and asked for clarification on what could be posted on a message board.

I always try to warn people that if you value your Pinecone membership, please be very careful about what you post here (or anywhere else). Don't forget that this is in their privacy agreement:
Security and Confidentiality

While everyone likes to discuss what's going on in their lives, talking about your work with PineCone can quickly become a security issue. To avoid this, please limit your survey and product testing experiences to your household. This includes posting product descriptions and images or our registration link in Internet chat rooms or on message boards.

i get a survey every week. i'm guessing that they don't have many people in my demographic. i've replied yes to about 10 products if they sent it to me and i've only received one to try thus far. i take the survey as soon as i get home from work generally, and they usually send the email in the morning with the link.

i love pinecone. i'm so glad i got in, it's been awesome so far.

You never really know. I get Household Questions surveys (no $5 checks) about once a month. Some months I might get 2 studies, but other months I might not get any.

This isn't the type thing you can count on as income. It's just something to do for fun and when they come, they come...when they don't, they don't.

I think it all depends on the demographic you're in. I've been a member since November and have gotten about 3-4 per month, and sometimes get up to 4 household surveys per month as well.

I have gotten one product and have always agreed to accept them. From the product that I tested (which was one of those "send it back" items so I got $15 in all!) I think that the more definitive you are with your answers, the more likely they are to send you a product. The one I got I had given really positive feedback- and was very glad they sent me the product- it wasn't all it was cracked up to be but had a lot of potential.

I love pinecone!!! I'm so glad I got accepted. I'm in the early 20's age group and I think there are less of us out there- I got accepted right away and get lots of surveys. I think they are lacking in this age group.

Sounds like me - that's about what I get in surveys and I'm in the mid-late 20's. I can usually count on 3-4 paying surveys a month.

My daughter is in her mid 20's and gets many more surveys that me.

:confused3

I sent my info in today. How long does it take to hear if you are accepted?

I think I got an email to join my first survey the very next day! And I just signed up this week, so be watching that in box!

I just got an email stating that I had not been actively participating and would be removed if I dod not answer some suveys, screeners soon. Thing is I haven't gotten a survey in several weeks. Emailed back and she said I have missed 13 surveys/screeners. I don't know what is going on but I have answered every single s urvey and screener that I have ever gotten. I checked my settings and pinecone is definitely on my safe list so I can't think of a reason I shouldn't be getting these surveys if they have indeed been sent. I asked to have the ones that are still open resent to me but haven't heard back.
