Pin Travel Question

Can you bring pins on the plane? I know this sounds silly, but I don't want to get caught up at TSA...

I always pack mine in my carry on bag. Never had a problem. Never pack them in a checked bag.....they might get "legs"

i usually keep my pins as one of my carryons since i carry them in a pin bag i use it as my personal bag and keep my wallet and stuff in my bigger carryon bag. when I go through xray i just let them know ahead of time they will be getting a bag with lots of pins in it. I unzip the bag when i put it in the bin with the pin trading logo on the front so they can see it if they need to check itmakes it alot easier for all!!

Mine have gone in my checked luggage on every trip since 2001 (many trips - see my sig). Never had a problem. I don't think pins would be seen as a likely item of theft like electronics would be, if that's the concern with checking them.
