As you can see.. the beloved pin trading events are during the day on Mondays this month.

I wrote an e-mail to Contact Us.. wondering if they "accidentally meant to have the event on Monday evening.." Here is the message I sent.

This is my favorite host event Any chance you "accidentally" meant to put it on Monday evening instead? Thank you for your consideration. I don't know many people who don't work or have school during ALL of the pin trading event hours.

Here's the message I received from VMK_Shorty ..

Host Games are in-game events hosted by VMK Staff Members. Some games give prizes for completing special tasks. If you become disconnected or unable to complete the task for one reason or another, prizes will not be awarded to your account. Host Games are listed on the VMK Community Calendar, which is located on the VMK Homepage. Thanks and see you in VMK soon! --VMK_ShortyVMK Player Support

So.. I guess those of us at work and school will not get any lovely pins..

the prizes for the other games may include the same magic pins Hula would have traded. We will have to wait and see what happens.

Most people won't even be online at that time. Most people are either at school or at work.

We can only hope that the other host games will give the same prizes. But in my experience, the trading events usually have something different.

I'm probably going to be in the minority here, but I am pleased to see that change in time. There are people who play this game that live over-seas, or who are only able to play during the day and are never able to make it to the Host events. I think this levels the playing field a bit for those players.

I am looking forward to it being possible for me to get into one of these trading events. The evening events are near impossible to get into - this change will allow a different set of players to hopefully have a shot at some Host time.

Luckily I work close to home and the start time is right at my lunch time, so I am going to try to run home as fast as I can and sign in. Hopefully I can get it quick otherwise I will miss out too.

Just want to point out, this is Hula's event not Fin. It doesnt mean its going to be just like Host_Phinny's event. Of course it might be ROFL. but we dont know, thats why I said maybe the prizes Hula has may be available at other events and times. Monday will shed some light on what the dealio is

I am very happy for this. I never get a chance at the late afternoon and evening VMK events where imo the best events usually are quests and I think a few months ago pin trading.

My first though was yeah the UK people have sometihng to look forward too. Yes It means that I may not get this months special pin but hey for our Dis friends overseas this is awesome

how in the world did all of you miss the fact that Sparky, first of all, never answers anyone with any useful information, and 2nd of all, his answer did not even relate to the question at hand. Can someone, somewhere, tell VMK that their customer service, especially from this "Sparky" person, is AWFUL. He needs to actually start READING the emails and messages he gets instead of keyword searches and auto replies.

My final thought: It is about time! there are alot of people who can only play VMK during the day, why should they be left out in the cold for host games and events? Good for VMK and Hula for finally recognizing the "night shift" working population on VMK

while i am happy about the time only because i never can get in on a saturday And the fact I am moving from cali to ohio and literally the only items in my apartment right now are my clothes, laptop and a mattress, i am hoping i can get on. But i do feel for those who must work and goto school. i see both sides of the issue, and i hope they will add other pin events at more reasonable hours, i mean if it is a kids game, why hold an event during school hours?
