Pin Trading Questions

I've purchased from Mousepins before, they send good stuff. A lot of pro pins which a lot of people don't like but I do! Some of the pro pins are really pretty. I actually have a Sedesma Tink, my DBF traded for it and I really do like it. The quality is not as good but it is a cute pin so I kept it. He got it from a CM so sometimes they let them slip thru.

fyi, there are TONS of Hidden Mickey pins, I've got about 10 sets sitting in front of me right now that we just framed! LOL The newest ones they had out when we were there were the Tink Teardops (we have all but #1) and the Princess Jewels (which we were able to find all of). And that isn't counting the others that we already hung up. Just tell your kids (or yourself) to find what they like and trade for it, that's what we do.

I love to pin trade so just looked at these guys. Personally I would not buy propins as they are lesser quality. However I would buy Eurodisney pins if they are marked c.Disney Disneyland Paris. I visited DLP last week and bought many DLP pins which are tradable at Disneyland and are stunning. Euro Disney was re named DLP mny years ago. I also did a lot of pin trading with DLP CM's last week which was great.

ya the bad thing is we found so many from the grab bags we wanted to keep, and so we were low on the tradeing at park next time were getiting 100 in stead 50 and yes we have sets of hidden mickey pins from them

I recieved an email a month or 2 ago about a special pin event going on at disneyland/DTD/DCA in the month of June(maybe part of July too). They are going to have a special cart that is only out a couple hours a day with some special adition pins.

Yeah, the summer pin trading carts finish on the 10th August, the day before I arrive Just my luck!!

I appreciate all the info you guys have given me about pin trading, but I do have one more question. Is there anywhere in DTD where the kids can trade pins, or can you only trade in the parks??

there is a pin trading booth/kiosk in DTD and right next to it are some benches and tables where people trade pins.

There is a pin shop in DTD, next to the monorail station. They do the books there after they do them in DL and the CM's usually have lanyards as well. There will also be "regular" people out with their books too. They have the CM books (or boards) out in CA too but not all the time, you can ask at PT Flea about it.

Jade, that's our problem too, we always end up finding pins we want to keep out of our lots, that's why we buy so many.....LOL

we are gona start buying some with his first pay check and then once a month just to be ready for the next trip lol what is a book of pins? I have only had the lanyards

No, she would probably enjoy pin trading too. They have smaller lanyards for kids, they are shorter so they fit better.

Jade, there are books you can keep pins in, my DBF carries one with him and so do my girls. CM's that are doing the pin trading tables have them as well, they carry the books out and they are full of pins. You can trade 2 pins at each book, in Frontierland they currently bring out 3 books that you can trade from.
