I would like to get a lot of pins on Ebay before my trip and I was wondering if anyone had any reputable ebay sellers that they deal with or go through? I would appreciate any help anyone can give me. Thank you.

Getting an eBay lot is a great way to start in pin trading. I have bought these several times over the years. This way my kids start out with some quality Disney pins that they don't necessarily want, and can freely trade for the ones they do want!:thumbsup2

I don't have a particular vendor to recommend. I suggest though you look for ones that clearly say they do not sell "Sedesma" or unofficial Disney pins. You can google the whole Sedesma story, but even if they are tradeable, I won't trade them. They are cheap in look and feel.

So: see what your vendor posts for pictures, see whether they say they only sell official Disney trading pins, and, most important, check their feedback rating! I specifically look for negative feedback to see what the problem was (bad delivery, bad pins). Expect to pay 3-4 dollars a pin per lot (sometimes as low as $2, but it's been a while for me...)

Good luck and have fun!:wizard:

Another way to do to have a start up collection was I purchased a 6 pin collectors box at the hotel gift shop that had smaller pins that the kids could trade. I think I may have paid between $10-15 for the 6 pins. Also, if you have a Disney Store near you they also sell pins and sometime they have them on sale in their clearance section you could check them out too.

Since this thread isn't about trading pins in the theme parks, I've moved it to the Collectors Board. :)

I always use MouseSurplus on ebay. They have everything disney so you may need to go through a few pages to find pins, but they always have some cool ones.

Go to www.ebay.com

Click on the Stores tab.

Type in MouseSurplus and click the 'store name' tab.

There are 2 ladies who sell disney pins that I've used several times. I have found them to be honest, and their pins are genuine and reasonable. Darlene and Nena sell from walts basement website. Give them a try.
