:welcome: DisneyAngel! So glad you are enjoying my TR. To be honest, I don't remember exactly how much we paid. I think it was like $55 a person. . .maybe $65. You should take this tour. It is incredible! You learn and see so much! Enjoy your trip!

Hi :wave2: Remember me? I thought I'd write another installment of this incredibly long report! Thank you for those of you who are still sticking around!

After we finished KTTK, Nikki took a quick restroom break. I waited outside and watched the people. I was amazed how different Main Street looked in the afternoon versus the morning- both before and after the "Running of the Tourist!!!"

I'm not sure Nikki was feeling too well at this point. We took things slow. It was just after 2pm, and we didn't have any plans until our 6:55 dinner reservations. We decided to just walk around an hang out at MK for a little while.

We stopped in the firehouse on MS where I don't remember ever going. Inside, there was all kinds of pet merchandise. If you read my PTR, you know Nikki has a dog she adores. She was getting a kick out of all the merchandise in the store.

We decided to stroll through the Emporium since it was air-conditioned. Plus, this would allow us to see more of the store than we had seen previously. Nikki found some friends:

DSC02318.jpg

Also, she LOVES Boo, so we had to take this one:
DSC02320.jpg

We meandered through the store just enjoying all the merchandise and themeing. Of course, we spent some time perusing the pins for sale, not to mention the pins of each of the CMs.

We exited the Emporium and made our way to the hub. We decided to head to Adventureland. As we were walking, something caught my eye:

DSC02322.jpg

IT WAS PUSH!!!!

I called to Nikki. I said, "Nikki, it is PUSH!" She looked at me and said "What's PUSH???" I drug her over to the trashcan that was greeting guests. I had been looking for him during this trip and the trip before. I thought he was only in Tomorrowland, but there he was in the hub! In the shot above, you can actually see the operator: look at the S in PUSH and look straight up. See the guy in the plaid shorts and blue shirt with his hand by his mouth? That's him!

Push somehow started a conversation with Nikki. He asked her her name. When she answered, I started recording a video. He was funny. When he found out Nikki was from Texas, he had her finish the "Deep in the Heart of Texas" chorus. Then he said he was going to back away (which he did) because he didn't want to 'mess' with her anymore and he asked if she wanted to know why. He said it was because you 'Don't Mess With Texas.' He said he didn't know what that meant, but he read it on a bumper sticker once! It was riot!

He asked Nikki if she wanted to take a picture with him. Nikki said sure. She got closer to him, and then he moved away saying we should have the picture in with the Castle in the background. As I was taking the picture, PUSH made some comment about Nikki using this picture as her facebook profile. Nikki told me later, she was thinking the exact same thing. I got a picture with Nikki and PUSH. Then, I handed Nikki my camera and traded places with her. PUSH was like, "Oh, you want a picture, too, huh?" I was thinking 'UH, YEAH!!!!!! I didn't just stand and watch you flirt with my friend for nothing!' Sheez!!

DSC02325.jpg

WOO-HOO! :woohoo: Found PUSH. . .another new thing neither Nikki or I had ever done before! It was awesome!

We headed to Adventureland. I had never been in the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse, so we did the walk through. Nikki lead at a very brisk pace, so I was shooting pictures left and right!

I was amazed seeing the Treehouse and knowing that each leaf on each branch was put on there by hand. SHHHHHH. . . .the whole thing is man-made....tree and all! I was so impressed! (Sorry to spoil it for those of you who didn't know!

We finished the Treehouse and made our way towards POTC. We happened to pass the Pirate Tutorial in session, so we stopped to watch this time.

DSC02350.jpg

The CM doing Jack was incredible! He had the voice and the movements down! Great job to him! It was like watching the real Jack Sparrow!

After observing the Pirate Tutorial, we rode POTC. No matter how many times we ride that ride, it is still one of the very best! LOVE IT!

More pictures coming soon. . . .Stay tuned!

Great update! I was on vacation in "the World", so I didn't get to read it until now. I haven't seen Push in forever! How fun that you got to see him (it....whatever you call Push).

I love just wandering around the Magic Kingdom with no real direction. It's definitely my favorite park to do that in.

Great update, Thanks!!

I'm so glad you are still reading and sticking around!

Push was awesome, and I was so glad I got to see him finally! OH, and I LOVE MK!!! Just can't get enough of it!

Yes, Yes. . .I'm posting another update. . .(Is almost a year later too long to still be doing a TR? :confused3 )

Anyway, after POTC, we stopped to get Dole Whips. Nikki had never had one, so this was a must!! Plus, it was pretty stinkin' hot!

DSC02351.jpg

DSC02353.jpg

YUM!! We ate our Dole Whips as we passed through Frontierland headed for the boats to Tom Sawyer Island. By the time we made the boat dock, whatever part of our Dole Whip wasn't eaten was melted. However, that didn't stop us from finishing them off! :goodvibes

We got in line for the boats and waited for one to arrive. It didn't take long. We loaded onto the boat with all the people. We packed that boat like sardines. I didn't realize so many people wanted to visit Tom Sawyer Island!

DSC02354.jpg

We were about to take off after the boat was loaded when the paddle boat started to make its way across our path.

DSC02358.jpg

Only a few minute delay, and we were on our way.
DSC02360.jpg

We disembarked and explored the island. It was ok-nothing spectacular. It was still on our list of things we'd never done before, so that was cool!

Once we had decided we'd seen enough, we loaded a different boat to get back to the rest of the park

DSC02373.jpg

By this point, we really had to hoof it to get back to ASMu, get changed, and get to EPCOT for dinner. (Yeah, we knew we didn't have to change, but we decided to make one dinner and a nicer dinner where we actually dressed up! What better place than EPCOT???)

We made a b-line straight for the exit. I don't even think we stopped to look at CM's pins! :scared1: :lmao: I love MK so much. The park itself is gorgeous, but with all the fall decorations, it was just that much more beautiful!!

We hopped on the bus to ASMu, got back to the hotel and our room. We changed and freshened up. We had no plans aside from dinner the rest of the evening, so it was going to be a relaxing time!

After we finished getting ready, we headed to the bus stop to find a bus to EPCOT waiting for us! Great timing! On our way, Nikki took these:

We got to EPCOT and made our way to the Italian Pavilion! We walked quickly through Mexico, Norway, China, the African Outpost, and Germany. We checked in at Tutto Italia. The foyer was very nice:
DSC02381.jpg

They seated us quickly at a small table in the corner of the front room. It was a very cozy and quiet restaurant. This one was new for both Nikki and I.

DSC02383.jpg

We scoped our the menu and the decor as we made our food decisions. We ordered a pitcher of Sangria to split. Nikki loves Sangria. When we were planning our trip, she introduced it to me, but we had only had the 'jug' versions you can get at most grocery stores. It became our Disney planning staple as we had it each time Nikki and I got together to plan this trip! The Sangria at Tutto had the actual fruit in it! We had to have it.

DSC02392.jpg

I didn't remember to take a picture until the end of the meal. . .oops!

The decor was so elegant. We weren't in the main room that had all the murals. We were in, what looked to be, a closed off patio. It was still nice! It was a very nice atmosphere.

Dinner arrived. Nikki ordered Arrosto Di Vitello In Porchetta. It was a veal roast with mushrooms and potatoes. She also ordered a side of spinach and tomatoes.

DSC02389.jpg

DSC02391.jpg

I ordered the Tortelli Di Vitello Al "Chianti" which was veal and Chianti ravioli with parmesan cheese, sage butter, and roasted tomato. Growing up, I was never a fan of veal, but it just sounded so good!

DSC02388.jpg

My ravioli was to die for! It was so delicious! I almost licked the plate. Nikki let me try her veal roast which was also incredible!!!! (I think I ate what she couldn't finish!) Our dinner was fantastic, but, of course, we still had dessert! YUM!

DSC02394.jpg

The waiter brought us the dessert menus. I was amazed at all the delectable options listed. I had a horrible time choosing. Poor Nikki: there was only one item she could have since it was the only one gluten free. She decided against it and selected something that had some kind of cookie in it. The manager came out and talked to Nikki. Since we had a gluten free request on the reservation, they were concerned that what she had selected wasn't gluten free. She assured them that it was ok. She told them she wasn't deathly allergic or anything. . just that it made her uncomfortable. They were relieved and brought dessert:

Nikki: Copetta Sotto Bosco - berries, zabaglione cream gelato and chocolate sauce
DSC02397.jpg

me: Gianduja - Chocolate Torta - chocolate and hazelnut torte with whipped cream and raspberry sauce

After dinner, we started to head out of the park. We saw that they were getting ready to start IllumiNations. We found an unoccupied part on the rail around the lagoon and watched.

DSC02400.jpg

We went back to ASMu to find a blow up screen by the pool where they were showing Up. We sat on the lounge chairs and watched the last part of the movie. We had to since UP was one our staple movie for quotes this trip!

Photo1242.jpg

It started to rain a little, but we persisted and finished the movie.

We made our way back to the room where we grabbed our green slips and went back to the gift shop to get our loot that we had purchased earlier and had sent to the resort. Before we left the gift shop, we played a larger-than-life game of connect four!

We came back to our room and crashed.

I can't find my picture, but the only pin I got that day was the Key to the Kingdom pin. More to come!!!!

I think a Dole Whip is good in any form. I'll take a melted one!

I like being able to get a little dressed up in Disney too. Nothing too fancy, but I think it's nice to freshen up in the middle of the day too.

I love the blow up movie screens!

I have been reading your trip report on and off all day. Very interesting! I am excited to read the rest. popcorn::
