Pin Trading Night in August??

I can't find the page on DLRP today where it has dates for pintrading nights.
we arrive on the 29th of august and hopefully that's a pintrading night as it's the last friday.
i've never been to one before - do people take children?
it's my who's the collector.
and do you have to buy a ticket in advance?
how late do they run?

A PTN Hasn't been announced for August and they had actually announced that they wouldn't hold a PTN before the pin trading day again
But if you are there then on sat you could visit
The next Pin Trading Day at DLRPark is on the 30th of August.

There will be a meeting point by Chalet de la Marionnette from 9.00 am to get the Pin Trading Day voucher wich will be necessary to purchase the exclusives pins. The vouchers will be valid only the 30 th of August and from 9.00am until 12.00pm.

A Pin Trading area will be available and indicated on that day accordingly to the availability of spaces.

If you are going could you pick me up a card and I would send you the money for the postage.

How often are the pin trading events? I'm new to it all but love collecting pins. I'm rather proud of them LOL. I'm going in early Sept so I guess they wouldnt have 2 events so close to each other?

There is usually a PTN every month. It tends to be the last firdy in the month but is not always they announce it about 3/4 weeks before. Septembers is held in Davy Crocketts ranch on the .
There seem to be 3 events a year on average. The dates for these vary but DLRP announce them on www.odpt.com when they know. You need to go to events and then Disneyland Resort Paris and there not only do they announce the events but the poster for the months pins.

and what exactly do you mean by a card? i'm happy to help if i know what to do!
dd will be very pleased. it's better that its in the daytime anyway.
getting there the evening before would rely on spaces on an earlier tunnel crossing.
now i just have to find somewhere for us to stay!

this was last years and this was 2006

They hand these out for free usually with a gift pin with them. This will have pins to complette the picture. You need to go around the park buying them to complete the set.
They will then sell several limited pins as well.
Just turn up and they will give you a voucher for the limited pins.
We were supposed to be going but can't make it.

They will give you one per person and if you ask for a friend who couldn't make it they will give you more. This is one of their great giveaways. But the giveaway is usually in the entrance somewhere.
I live in Spain so this would be meandering. I have friends in the uK where yuo can post it and I will sned you the postage costs either in stamps or in a postal order as you prefer.

what sort of format do the pin meets/ptn's take? is it literally a case of like in the parks wander round and show off pins you want to trade and broker deals?

also how do you use the card/voucher for the limited pins? is there a special store to use them in?

sorry to ask silly questions but hoping to make the one in november or december so would like to be well prepared

I guess we'll find out on Saturday...not a major deal either way but they must be handing them out as the event begins at 9am (how does that work if the park doesn't open until 10??)
