Pin Trading in the disney stores

If anyone's still looking for one, they had some at the Trafford Centre store today too, don't know how many, as the tree was looking pretty full up today when I popped Claire's star on there for her

I think it's been a wonderful idea from the Disney Store and a credit to all you CM's who managed to 'sell' so many stars

The southampton store still seemed to have quite a few packs left behind the counter, although there was a reasonable number of stars hanging on the tree.

I would have bought one, but I've already got mine from the Reading store, so I think that as I've not really got somebody else to give the pack to, I'll let somebody else buy them, so they can get the warm and fuzzy feeling that comes from knowing you've done a good thing

We got 3 stars on Saturday from Northampton 1 for us and 2 for Christmas gifts.
I think it's a great idea and hopefully they will do similar things in future The CM's seemed a bit suprised I knew what they were
There were a few stars there already but the box behind the counter still had quite a few packs left.

HI - been into Disney store today - had to ask to see Lanyards and cast member had to go out back to find them!!!!!! No sign of new pins on lanyards - can't wait to see something new on there! Got the great new christmas pin today

I haven't even seen them yet in store! I'm going to have to go for a look!

They are in stores but we've only have a few of each. They've been in for about two weeks. The ones we had were supposed to last 6 weeks to you may find that they are only putting one or two on at a time. There are five in the range btw - Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto and Goofy.

Thanks very much, I hope I see a couple as with the earlier ones they didn't seem to have any on the lanyard. We asked and one time they brought a few out

Yeah, it's always worth asking. Pin trading isn't as big as I thought it would be yet and we have so many other things going on that we're not always great at updating the lanyards. Worth checking. Good luck, they are really cute!

Oh I'd love one, but I'd feel cheeky to ask! I'll just keep a look out when I'm in there. So they're quite rare then?

Seem to be. I think each store got maybe 5 of each. Whether we'll get more I don't know I'm afraid. I have a full set BUT before you jump on me - I had to get my friend to go into another store in another city and trade for me as a regular guest because we were discouraged from being allowed to trade ourselves. When we trade normally we have to do it on a non-shift time as guests! No special cm priviledges. I was just lucky and my friend (who is an angel ) worked in town and just kept popping in to her local store for me and eventually she got the five. Took her a couple of weeks though cause she only got the last one a day or two ago. Apparently she upset one of the CMs there cause they wanted the pluto one themselves and she swapped for it before they could. BUT, they are out there, I just think stores are putting one or two on at a time. So worth asking!
