We visited WDW 4 years ago with the Family in Mid March and got about 20 or so pins. When trading, how do you know which pins are more rare than others and should not be traded one for one, or maybe should not be traded at all? I realize that trading is fun, and value is really what you like, but I don't want to feel like an idiot, if a give away a relatively rare pin for another when I should have held on to it.;)

Your best source is probably pinpics, but if you aren't near a computer, the Tomart guide isn't bad. (sold at WDW)

Looking on the back of the pin helps 99% of the time with the edition size. But that won't help you with how many people desire the pin.

Search Ebay use (disney* and pin*) *are wild cards they will bring up anything Disney like Disneyland, and pin* will bring up pin, pins, or pinochio.

Then look at current and completed see which pins where the highest value and got the most bids, those are the hot ones.

Also look at pinpics for the want and trades ratio a pin that has 150 wants and 2 trades is better than a pin that has 2 wants and 150 trades.
