Pin Trading - How do this work?

Could someone please tell me how this works? and what kind of pins do the kids trade? Only Disney - type or would kids be interested in pins from another country?

This explains everything. My kids have been doing this for the past two years and love it. We will be doing it again this year. The pins to trade must have a Disney trademark or be affiliated with Disney. A great tip is to buy the pins before you go from eBay. The CMs at the park will trade with you for anything that is allowed so you are better off getting pins before you go. They start at $6.50 in the parks. Happy trading!

Disney Auctions has pins for good prices. I bought a couple sets off of there to trade.
