Okay...my children began pin trading several years ago on our first trip to Disney. They find a pin they like and then try to complete a set during that trip by trading with CMs. This little treasure hunt is a highlight of our trips!

However, I would love to find a book that shows what pins disney has made over the years, so the kids can see what else is out there, and what new sets they'd like to search for.

Does anyone know a good pin trading book?

There are several soft sided pin book available at the parks and on disneystore.com. I have several for the different pins that I have.

I think the OP means a collector's book showing the different pins, not the ones he owns?

Found one!!!! Thought I might share in case others are looking for the same thing.

The author is Tom Tumbusch, and it is Tomart's 6th Edition "Disneyana:Guide to Pin Trading". It looks really interesting and is the most recent of a series.

We have some older pins, so I may purchase several editions!

Happy hunting everyone! :tinker:

Keep in mind this publication is not very realistic in it's appraisal or value of pins. They tend to be high on that. Also I would recommend that you might take a look at pinpics.com

This is a great resouce for pins.
Have fun!

Hi there,I see that you refer to pinpics in a couple of your posts.
well,I have no idea how to use that site.
It is so confusing....
when they attach #s to pins....
I cannot make heads nor tails of it....

The numbers are their way of adding pins. They mean nothing to Disney themselves and only other PinPics users would know what they mean with a pin. If you use their actual search engine, then you can use Keywords to search for all the pins that match and as long as it was listed correctly, it will come up. It is a great resource for trading and research.
