Pin Parade, I Need Details!

I will be in WDW next Saturday, September 15th. I am not sure I understand this Pin Parade thing. The one I will be attending is at Downtown Disney, but where in Downtown Disney?? I read a report (on Dizpins) about the one at Disney MGM Studios. The report mentioned waiting in line at 8am to get a wrist band. What is the wrist band for??? He then left MGM and went to MK where he purchased the LE Labor Day pin. Did he have to have the wrist band to purchase the pin? The reporter then went back to MGM to trade pins at the Pin Parade cart. Did he have to have the wrist band to trade pins? I am sorry to sound stupid about this but I am a novice pin trader who just wants to get some great pins next weekend for myself and to use for trades. Any info you can provide would be very helpful. Thanks!

The pin event on Sept. 15 is being held at downtown disney at the world of disney in the mens collection room. You line up for the wrist band which allows you to purchase 2 each of the limited edition pins being released that day...they will be the parade 5 & 6, another wanna trade pin #3, and the 3 weeks to go pin..jiminy cricket...each edition size 2,500...and there will probably be left overs from the previous two weeks of trade parade offered as well...trade parade 1, 2, 3, and 4. The are also doing limited release 100 years of magic hinged doors and also a huey, dewey, louie, abu and jafar (open release).

Keep your eye on dizpins for wristband time...I believe it is between 7am and 2pm that saturday. They have not ran out yet. There will also be an artist pin signing from 12-2pm, and you also have a chance to trade 5 different and unique pins on the trade parade cart at 10am.
