Good morning everyone!
Can anyone tel me the best site to go to for buying pin lots? We are going to WDW in June and would like to do some trading but I need to stock up on what I have. Just got back from DL but once again bought the ones I wanted to keep mostly and not trade!
Any help would be appreciated!
TA!

Most people do not agree with me on this one, but i suggest going to ebay and shopping for the best price as you would when you buy a car or a TV. If you really want trading pins, do not buy cast lanyards or hidden mickey lots as that tends to drive the price up.

Watch out for fake pins. Depending on how many you are buying you can always ask the seller to email you detailed pics of the pins (including the back to check for authenticity)

Eurodisney are about the cheapest, but most pin traders frown upon people trading these pins. Personally, I think some of the designs are pretty neat and actually have some in my collection.

Be careful of people suggesting websites on this forum. There are several people who seem to be promoting their own individual websites.

I suggest mousepinsonline.com
We have bought from them twice and this last time we got almost all cast member pins.
They are also currently having a sale. I have heard nothing but horror stories about ebay pins.
Be careful whatever you decide.

Ebay has over 300 million customers selling over 52 billion dollars in goods. That enhances your opportunities for great deals as well as shady characters. Most people who have bad experiences on ebay choose sellers who do not use third party payment services such as paypal.

I personally believe that one of the reasons you only hear about the bad ebay experiences on this particular forum is because most people are made to feel ashamed if they purchase Eurodisney or "cheap" pins off ebay. All you have to do is read a few posts and you will see what I am talking about. Almost as if buyinjg buying cheap pins you are somehow destroying Disney magic and undermining pin trading completely.

I do not mean to say that other Disney pin retailers are bad. On the contrary many of these companies offer great products at reasonable prices. Some are absolutely absurd in the prices they offer. So thank God we have a free market society. Whether you choose ebay, an online retailer or some guy on the corner with a bag of pins, the old addage remains true...Let the buyer beware.
