Pin Event Question

According to the brochure, " Mickey's Pin Trading Cart - Find the pins you have been looking for to complete your collection."

What can I expect? Wet Paint? Haunted Mansion Stained Glass LE 150? Stuff not sold on Disney Auctions?

Or Zodiac pins?

Do they bring this out at all the pin events?

Most pin events and special occasions you will see the Mickey's Trade Cart. As some people can tell you they have found Mickey for Pres., Flubber, and many LE and open pins. You never know what you will find on it.

I encountered the Pin Trade Cart in November and found only rack pins. Maybe if you are first in line to trade you might find something special.

Are the pins for purchase or trade?
If for trade, what are the rules?

The pins on the Mickey's Trade Cart are for trade. If memory serves correctly it is a limit of 2 trades per person. They only allow about 2 people at a time at the cart so you wait in line until your turn.

they will allow you to trade up to 5 pins per the normal pin trading guidelines. They allow as many people up as a time as they have CMs to escort us. When it is you r turn, a CM will come and get you. They stay at your side the entire time you are at the cart.

It is hand -to-hand trading. This means you need to take the backs off all five of your pins. Next, point to the one on the board that you would like, they take it off the cork board, hand it to you and you use your back that you removed from your pin to place on the pin removed from the board.

You may trade up to five per day per person so if the pin cart is available for two days you can do this twice. Hope this helps. I personally found an Artist Proof once.
