Has anyone done something unique to display their Disney pins? I think there's a book you can purchase to put them in, but I'd rather have them where they can be more readily seen.

There was a discussion somewhere on the DIS about this awhile ago...my favorite suggestion from that was using an artists' canvas (like you can buy at Michael's) covering it with whatever fabric etc you wanted - that way it was easy to hang and you could keep the backs with the pins. I did mine before the thread so I created a little wall hanging with some good fabric and a THICK dowel (tried a smaller one that I warped with the weight of the pins!) It looks like a herald's flag on the wall, and there's plenty of space for me to keep adding. I'd attach a pic, but I haven't taken one yet...

A lot of the pins we buy on our trips are themed (where we stayed, new rides, or special memories). We also trade, but usually just to meet new people and have fun. For our trip ones, I use a shadow box to display these. The Martha Stewart ones at Michael's crafts are really good because they come in varried sizes and colors. http://www.michaels.com/art/online/displayProductPage?productNum=pc0963 I do suggest placing them upside down first to make sure the matting doesn't cover up any of the pins and that all of them fit.
