I am new to the boards, but have been reading the posts for quite some time. I think all the information here is extraordinary and just had to tell you the amazing story I have. I had been reading about all the people who have gotten discounts with the e-mail and postcard notices from Disney, so I decided to call and ask if any PIN code was associated with my name. The CM that answered was very nice and looked up my name and told me that there was no PIN for me. I thanked him for checking and told him I was kind of disappointed as we had been many times but never seem to get the postcards.
I hung up...and not 5 minutes later I got a phone call. It was the CM I had just talked to. He asked if I had ever registered at Disney under my maiden name, to which I said yes...he said there was a PIN code attached to that name!
I still cannot believe that he called me back!!! Talk about going above and beyond. He was so nice and told me how much he loved Disney and went there all the time with his child. We had a discussion about the Haunted Mansion events at both MK and Disneyland all the while he was making my reservation. I thanked him again and told him I really appreciated that he called me back.. he said it was the least he could do seeing as he gave me incorrect information the first time I called.
As it was, I ended up getting the Wilderness Lodge for $121/night for 10/23-28.
I usually experience good customer service when I call Disney, but this was truly amazing. Does anyone know who/where I can e-mail to let someone know how wonderful this CM was?
