I just wanted ask what these are and how I get them? I have only started hearing about them this week. I am an AP holder and clueless! Is there any way to get one for August?

You can't request them, unfortunately. People just get them randomly. Disney Destinations sends them out, and a lot of people are skipped while others seem to get PIN code offers all the time. I got a couple last year. I got one earlier this year, and no I have 3 of them in my possession, which all expire at the end of September. Unfortunately, they are non-transferable, so those of us who cannot use our PIN offers cannot pass them on to anyone else to use, so they go to waste. Since there is no rhyme or reason to who gets them and who doesn't, the thing I always say is to just get on as many Disney mailing lists as possible. Sometimes, if you have previously stayed onsite at a DLR hotel and they keep your name in the database, that will give you an advantage. Other people who have stayed onsite never get any pins. Sometimes AP holders get them; sometimes they don't.

Just go onto the DLR website and make sure you start a My Disneyland account, sign up for the travel DVD too, contact the Walt Disney Travel Company and ask them to send you out brochures for DLR - anything to get your name and address on the mailing lists and databases. Yes, many people who are on those lists get overlooked for PINS, but many of them get PINS (like me!). There is no way they can know about you unless you sign up for stuff and get your name out there, so I say it cannot hurt!
