PIN codes for July?

For the first time in a very long time we are planning a trip for July (end of the month). I received a surprising number of PIN code offers that were good through mid-June, but I am wondering about the odds of receiving a code that is good for late July.

Has anyone ever received a PIN code for the on-site hotels that is good in July and early August? If so, was it an unusual year, or are such offers actually typical?

I have not....I was all excited because we are going in July and got a flyer in the mail. I was thinking PIN code! Nope. Just standard AP rates. I LOL when I read ONLY $330 a night at PPH!

We got that same flyer Crystal, and laughed as well!

I don't remember getting a pin code for July before, but that's not to say others haven't.

We have already booked for July, but I waited a couple of days longer than I should have, and the room type I wanted was no longer available at the cheaper price when I finally got my act together.

If you want to go in July, you would be better off booking as soon as you can, and then calling to adjust your rate(room only), if a cheaper one comes out, rather than waiting for a pin code(in my opinion).

I agree. Book now! Before rates go nuts.

Also, have you looked into cheaptickets? Sometimes they have 20-25% off....

I usually prefer to book directly with Disney, but that's another option.

Thanks for the advice. We actually booked a ressie through Orbitz when they were having a sale earlier this year. But the deal is not as good as PIN code deals, and I also prefer to book direct if I can.

I will hold tight for a PIN offer, but if none comes we already have our room ready to go at a rate that is merely morally outrageous rather than physically painful.
