Just my little rant for the night........ Why do you think Disney promotes "codes" that are not available for the general public? Just like the infamous 40% code that they offered last year. I was one of the lucky ones that was able to have it applied to my reservation, but it took me like ten calls to get that discount. :surfweb:

My guess is to keep people coming back. I don't think PIN codes are offered to anyone who a) does not have a reservation in the system, or b) has never been to Disney before. You have to be registered with Disney to get them, which is where they get your email/snail mail address from. You've shown an interest in going to Disney, they want to make sure you get there. My profile said that I was planning a trip in Jan 2008, and I got a few pins this year trying to get me to come earlier. As much as they want to drum up new business, return customers are a better investment. If they can use less advertising dollars and still fill up their resorts, then they will do it that way. That's just my guess :goodvibes
