PIN Code/Split Stay/Package

Thanks to you lovely people, I am considering a split stay. I have a PIN code. After reading about split stays, I believe I make two separate resort reservations and add my tickets to the first stay. I've only made Room Only reservations in the past and am not familiar with packages. With Covid, I have decided to book a package this time.

-Am I able to make two resort reservations with the same PIN or will I need to book the second one at rack rate?

-If I book the first reservation as a package, am I able to reduce the number of nights at a later time?

-Does bell services still transfer your luggage between Disney resorts for you during Covid?

I don't know anything about packages, but I have been able to make two reservations with a PIN/split stay (in November), so I know you can do that for sure. I actually did mine at the same resort this time (CSR standard/GDT) so we didn't need to transfer luggage so I have no experience with that, but I believe it's still available.

I made two separate room only reservations with my pin code for our split stay. Then purchased tickets from Parksavers (boardwalk ticketing) and linked to my disney experience account. Tickets were cheaper from them. No problems with any of it.

Thanks everyone! I was thinking of a package this time in case the trip didn't work out. I usually buy tickets from UT. But with all the uncertainty, I wasn't sure if I wanted to commit to tickets from a reseller. I may want hoppers and am not sure how the new hoppers will work out. I am watching and waiting, but am anxious to start dreaming about a future trip. Trip planning is my favorite hobby!
