Pin Code Question

My family stayed at the BCR Club Level this past September and we absolutely loved it. We stayed at a Deluxe because we had received a pin code for 30% off our stay. We're not going to Disney this year - we have other plans. But, I'm hoping we can go again next year. I'd love to try the Poly this time and we definitely want to stay CL again. How do they determine who gets pin codes? Is it random or do you have a better chance if you've already stayed there??? Just trying to gauge our chances of receiving another one. Thanks!

They are completely random. You can possibly increase your odds by saving some trips on the website and ordering the planning DVD, but it is in no way a guarantee that you will get one. Like I said, completely random.

Actually not random but they can sure feel like it. They are a marketing tool to encourage a target group to buy room nights. Disney marketing determines the characteristics of those they are trying to attract (the target group) and sets the criteria for the mailing campaign. Meet the criteria for a promotion and you get a pin promotion, don't meet them and you don't get one. Since only Disney marketing knows the criteria it does feel random to those who don't get one.
