Pin Code question

I have read that you can share your pin code with other people traveling during your trip. If I have a pin code for a room only discount but booked free dining instead. Can I call and apply the room only to my parents room even though I am not using it. (they already have tickets to the parks so the free dining ends up costing them and they are trying to go cheap). Or do I have to be using it in order to share.

That's a good question, so you want to book two rooms, with different deals on those two rooms? That is a good question. I would say that you can book a room with the free dining discount and then book another with the room only discount as long as YOU are the purchaser of both rooms, but then I am not an expert. Call and ask, but if the Cast Member seems to be lacking in their authority, don't hesitate to ask for guest services or a supervisor.

I actually just booked a similar situation with the pin code I received. I booked my room and a friend's room under my discount. The only provision being that I have to go physically check them in, since the room will be under my name.

I'm not sure if the FD discount on your original room would affect the new reservation, but I doubt it! Hope it all works out for you guys.
