Pin Code Question?

Last August my mother and I took my kids to DW. We had a one night room only under her name and then the free dining package was under my name. My e-mail address was used on both reservations as she didn't want to use hers because it was changing.
Now, I keep getting pin codes with her name sent to my e-mail address. Just got the one for free dining through December. Neither of us can take advantage of it, but it got me thinking. If I get any more of these codes in the future can I use them?Or can only my mother use them?

If they are not in your name, No you can not use them.They have to be in your name.Unless of course she is traveling with you and the one making the ressie

This is kind of what I figured, although I was hoping I was wrong. Sheesh, Disney has had my name for years and they never send me anything. My mother makes a one night ressie at a value resort, during value season and they send pin codes like crazy!

I have the same issue! I have gotten several pin codes to my e-mail address in my FIL's name(never one in my name). He does not live with us, but 3 years ago we had a grand gathering and we had his info e-mailed to us(they don't have internet acess). A couple of months ago I received a pin code in his name, and called Disney to fix it. My feeling was the same as the other person...I am not able to use this code now, but what if one comes along that I can use and can't because it is in his name. Anyway, I had a very nice CM on the phone remove my e-mail address from his profile. DONE Well, not really. I received the free dining pin last week AGAIN in his name. I called today to see if there was anything else I could do and the CM confirmed that it was removed?????? She asked me for the pin and I didn't have it at the moment, but she did say if the home address was linked to me not my FIL's address, I would still be able to use it. Haven't called to check that out.
