PIN code newbie with a question

We originally booked POR Royal Guestrom-standard view with visa S/P/D offer for 10 days in January (2 adults, 2 children) for a total of $4046.84. This was the lower price that resulted from the computer glitch people have discussed on here (price went up $300 a week later, but Disney honored the original). I thought I was happy with this offer, but THEN got PIN code in the mail today for Free Dining! I had them run the numbers for me and the total went down to $3669.22!! Woohoo! So my question....we are traveling with good friends and their child. They have a different reservation number, but we share a "travel with" number. Can they use our pin code to get the free dining as well? Thanks for your help.

They cannot *use* your PIN code - meaning you cannot apply YOUR PIN to their reservation - but you can ( I believe) book up to 3 rooms with your PIN code, so you could book a room for them. That might mean you would have to book their room, then they would cancel their current reservation..but I am not sure how it would work with the $$$ - Are you staying at the same resort? The best way to find out is to call.

As pp said you can book up to 3 rooms with the pin all reservations will have your name at top however the second room will be all your friends info. You can ask for confirmation numbers and give one to friend for her to use her cc to pay for.

I'm traveling with a large group. SIL1 got a FD Pin (right after we had applied the P/S/D promo). Our AAA TA was able to use her PIN # to apply to her room (FD was definitely better than the P/S/D discount for her), and she was also able to apply the PIN to 2 more rooms (my BIL and SIL2) - they didn't have to change confirm #'s either, and SIL1 didn't have to put her name on their reservations. AAA didn't have to refund them on the first ressie; the original deposit remained as is.

SIL3 got a FD PIN in US mail yesterday, and she is going to share it with me and DH, and her sister and DH!

They can apply it to the res since you already have the rooms booked and you're all traveling together at the same time/same resort.

Even if you were booking fresh, they'd have the other party info on the second reservation since you can't be in 2 rooms at once

Just call - you can use it with up to 3 rooms.

Op said they have a TW which is a link in Disney's system showing 2 parties traveling together at the same resort/time.

That's the only way for a pin to be used on multiple rooms
