pin code for room ?

I use to be on top of this, but Disney is getting so confusing. I booked a 40% off room only with a pin code. I added CS dinning and tixs. Now, if free dinning is offered during my stay in Oct, can I get the free dining without the cost of the room going up? I only ask because in years past of free dinning, you had to pay rack rate for the room.

No, you have to choose between the 40% off or the free dining.

Gotcha...no change. So actually free dining is not so free if the room is rack rate. I don't care much as I got a good code off the room, and my meals are paid for by me. I do have to eat...

Plus free dining this year also requires at least two day park tickets for everyone in the room, plus the purchase of a $99.00 Memory book. For solos or couples the room discounts are probably going to beat free dining.
