PIN code discount disappointments

I know that Disney is in the buisiness of making money but I have to admit I was surprised by the newest PIN code mailer I received. I booked last week for three nights in June with the Spring general public code. Found the PIN code mailer in the mail this morning (Yes, I've been lazy and it was stuck inside a magazine). Checked the website and lo and behold the rate fir the mailer is identical to my general public code! Oh well, guess 30% is the best they can do right now!

At least yours was for 30% off mine was only 10% renting DVC was a much better deal.

Well at least you know you're on Disney's exclusive PIN list! I receive a PIN every few weeks via email and we haven't used a PIN yet (AP rates are usually better!) bc they either don't work for our dates or just aren't worth it. But it is nice to know that I'm on the "list" .

What's funny about this is the last few PIN code cards we have received have been addressed to DH, who has NEVER made a reservation! I guess they figure since he's the one that pays the bill I miss the days of the old 40% discounts and ours from a couple years back that discounted CL heavily as well. I booked CR atrium club for lessthan $300 a night then they upgraded us to a one room suite on Tower club floor. Those were the days! I also came across paperwork not too long ago for CR garden wing for $129 a night as GA resident discount!

my sister in laws pin was for only 5% off at the Poly even though the card said 30% off. Not much of a deal at 5% off.

Wow, 5% doesn't even pay the tax!! I thought that 10% was a joke, but 5% is an insult.
