Pin code but no details

I just called to see if we had a pin code and we did. However, the CM said there was no information attached to it so she didn't know what the code was for or when it was good for except that it's a 2012 pin. She asked me to give her dates so she could try to figure the type of discount. She put me on hold for a bit to try to figure it out but couldn't come up with any info. It didn't work for August or March and we both ended the call very confused.

Has anyone had this happen?

I'd try again to see if you can get more information. I hope it's a pin you can use.

My mother received a flyer in the mail which had a pin code on it. I called about it and they said it was attached to someone else's name with a different address. They had no idea how it got sent to my mother. The castmember looked under my mother's name and then put me on hold for a minute. When he came back, he said that there was another pin attached to my mother's name and it was for 2012 but he had no details. He told me to call back next Tuesday as pin codes are normally released on Mondays and Tuesdays. He thinks that they will be able to give me details when I call back.

All of these pin code posts had me thinking so I just called Disney to find out if I had a pin. I got the same info as cinmell. I believe the CM's name was Mercy, she told me that there is a pin attached to my name but Disney has not released/loaded it into the system yet. She could not tell me what type of discount/promo was being offered. The only thing she could tell was that the pin is going to expire on December 31, 2011. She told me to call weekly because the pin should be available in a couple of weeks. Keeping my fingers crossed for something for my travel dates.

There was another thread similar to this one a few weeks ago. the person ended up getting their code, but it took several calls. The thread should still be close to top of page....titled. "an email pin just..." or something like that. GOOD LUCK!!

What happened with you guys? Were you ever able to call and actually apply that pin?

Just happened to me/SIL today, so I'm very curious!
