My kids have filled up their pin books and bags. Can I get some ideas on where to purchase a new pin bag or book for them?

My DD14 has a POC trading bag from WDW and would like something bigger to keep her keepers in and still use the bag for her traders for trading at the Contemp. Pin Trading Nights and DTD on our trips to Disney. She doesn't care if it says WDW or is official or is a bag or book.:hyper: She has around 350+ pins.

My DS9 has a WDW pin book that is made like a notebook with about 5 or 6 pages of pins. We don't really like it because it doesn't protect the pins like my DD's bag does. He also wants a bag or book for his keepers and one for trading. He has around 200-250+ pins. He wants his bag or book to say WDW or be official.:sad2:

I have looked at Ebay and most of the books are going for more than I can buy them at the parks. We are going(hopefully) in Feb. so we can buy them there, but wondered if there were any more options you guys could help me with? They really wanted to have their books and or bags ready for our trip before we leave. I know that I can order Disney merchandise over the phone and that may be one option. I wouldn't have to pay tax, only shipping but I couldn't get my AP discount like I would at DTD-The World of Disney store! Just trying to save my kids & myself a buck or two!:thumbsup2

Do you like books or bags? Have any options that are sturdy and nice but not the official WDW bags/books?

Thanks for any and all help!:)

have you looked into mailorder?

They can usually get you most anything you want
407-363-6200

they will need a sku# or at the very least a good description of what you want.

Do a little research and you should be able to get sku #'s

good luck

That was what I was talking about. Thank you for your help though!:flower3:

Keep watching Ebay. I am taking my two nieces (who are not yet pin traders) to the pin event in June. I wanted them to have pin bags for trading. I found back packs & waist fanny packs for under $20. I have also purchased some regular bags for less than cost. Good luck, Penny:wave2:

You may want to call WDW Merchandise and just order what you want and have it sent to you. Sounds less expensive than Ebay, and much more reliable. :confused3
I don't know their number off hand, but someone here probably has that.

Hi -- I couldn't bear to pay the price they wanted for official books! I bought a couple of zipper notebooks (like Trapper Keepers) when they went on sale at Target, then bought fun foam pages and felt sheets. I put holes in both the foam and felt, put my pins on the foam pages, and put the felt pages in between. This protected my pins really well, and the zipper kept anything from falling out. Total price was less than $6 per book, would be more if you can't find the notebooks on sale. For pins that are still on the cards, I bought baseball card plastic protector pages (the pockets come either 9 to a page or 4 to a page), put the pin in the pocket without the back, poked it through the plastic, then put the back on to hold it in place. This has also protected my pins really well (and then they go in the Trapper Keeper). I think they look good and they're easy to use.

Thanks so much for the replies. My daughter decided to give her brother her Jack Skellington pin bag from Disney and I ordered her one off of Ebay for $35. It isn't an "official" pin bag but she really likes it. It will hold 600+ pins and the pages are held in by velcro so they can be easily removed and moved around. It is made like her JS bag from Disney but not quite as good quality. It was $5 cheaper and will hold double the pins as the JS bag.

Thanks again for the help!:)
