My boys collect pins - they are only 7 and 9 so just for fun, but they have a couple hundred of them. Right now they have them in the blue binders they sell in Disney with the black pages. We added pages so they have 12 pages in each book so they are overflowing and hard to turn the pages. In addition they have pins in a ziplock bag that don't fit. I didn't see anything in Disney that looked like it would hold much more. I have noticed sometimes there are people in Epcot at the pin store in the middle that look like they have big black books that hold a lot of pins. Does anyone know how many pages these books have or where to get them? Or anyone have any other good ideas to hold all the pins? Thanlks!

I saw some of those binders while in WDW last week. I'm not sure how many pages they hold. The one with the zipper was about $25.00 and another one was about $35.00.

If anyone is still looking where to hold all the pins. My family and i love trading pins. We put all of are series pins and the special pins that we like on a framed cork board and hang it so we can look at them all the time. We also have a shadow box for the very special pins.

I use a regular 3-ring binder. For most pins on backer cards they fit into the trading card pockets. Larger backer cards and loose pins go on the refill pages. I try to keep my sets out of the binders because they get so bulky and use the binder for trading only.

I know the guys you are talking about . . traded with them last time we were in Epcot. We asked them about the binders because my DH and I like to pin trade but don't like the lanyards. They told us that they got the biggest binders they could find and then their wives made the sheets out of black sheets and made plastic covers for the sheets. We decided as much as we liked that idea I'm just not that handy . . so we got big cork boards and hung them in our spare room.

My dd was also looking for a way to organize her pins. The lanyards were just too bulky. I googled for ideas and found one where a mom bought a case-it type zippered 3 ring binder with 3" rings. Then bought foam sheets (from a craft store) and punched holes to put them into the binder. The pins stick right thru the foam. It worked out great! I put extra sheets of foam between the layers of pins so the backs from one page don't get caught on the next page of pins.
