I live in Sweden, but I come from the UK. I took about 6 trips to Disneyworld in the past and ended up being addicted to Pins (who wouldn't be?). Last time I went, I went with my girlfriend. She is from Sweden (hence why I live here!). This was her first trip abroad (she has aspergers) so it was a massive deal. She noticed pin badges, but as this was our first trip together we didn't really budget too much money, so I couldn't buy her any.
Anyway, we are heading back in 2014 (she begged me!) and I want to surprise her with one of those lanyards and a couple of 'mystery pins' before we go, that way she has something fantastic to do in the parks. Whether she will approach CM's and talk to them to trade is anybody's guess, mainly because she can't mentally bring herself to do it sadly
She tries though! She went to a number of restaurants during the last stay, despite her in the past being terrified of places like that (she hadn't been to one)
I digress, I wanted to surprise her with lanyards and pins. Awesome right? This was before her trip. Sadly, you can't get either in UK or Sweden unless they are scrappers. The shipping fee from American was just....extortionate. I got in touch with Disney Store, and whilst they are normally interested in helping me out (they once found a Disney jumper for me and told me where to buy it, despite it not being a 'Disney Product' (just licensed to H&M). This time I just got a standard copy and paste reply referring to their 'shipping costs'. Which sucked to be fair!
I want to know if anybody knows where I can get a starter set in England or Sweden (I am between the countries a lot!)
