Hey fellow pin collectors!

Im new to the pin scene, my GF and I are going to WDW in September and thought we'd trade some pins with CM for kicks, plus the pins are nice to remember things. We were able to get a whack, some of them very nice, off ebay for basically nothing, 1 - 2 dollars each!

Now that we have them though and the time to bring them to the park aproaches I've heard that the backings sometimes fall off? Is there a place to order ones that lock on in some manner?

Thanks!

I think Disney sells "locking pin backs" in their park (you have to take them off from the back, they won't pull off from the front) stores. I picked up 50 for $15 on eBay a while back, they were silver colored and the backs were smooth buttons so they weren't as bulky as the ones Disney sells :)

We had to buy those locking pin backs in May because my DD's pins kept falling off! They work great! I believe you use a small allen key (comes in the package) to secure them on!

BTW, the rubber Mickey head backings make great Crocs jewelry, like the "jibbitz" I think they're called! :thumbsup2

:teeth: Now, I carry Mickey with me wherever I go!!! :teeth:

I don't suggest locking pin backs for pins you will trade away. They are a pain and you will be tying up the time of the CM that much longer. I haven't worn a lanyard in the parks for a couple of years. I simply keep some pins in my pocket or in my purse and use them. This way I don't have to worry about losing them!

Enjoy!
