PIN after booking?

I'm wondering what the chances are of us getting a PIN after booking? We have booked for July 2012, paying rack rates (ouch!) I have gotten a PIN for FD thru the end of June but our travel dates are set.

I'm worried that bybooking they won't send a PIN since there is no reason to entice me to book?! Am I beign paranoid? LOL I have read a few people have gotten July PINS, I would be excited to get ANYTHING LOL

No one knows the magical explanation on who gets PINs. Just keep checking your email/snail-mail and hope something shows up. You can also call and ask if you have a PIN associated with yourself.

I know its possible to get a PIN after booking just don't know what their method to the madness is. We booked last year (end of February I believe) for May and in March we got a FD pin in my email (just like two weeks before we had to pay in full!). So we switched since it saved us more over the GP discount we currently had.

We booked with a %10 off discount. Yesterday we got a FD postcard in the mail. So it is possible to get a discount after booking.

I have gotten email offers ... in my email.. WHILE I was at Disney.

It simply doesn't get anymore random than that.

What about first week in June? Anyone gotten pin codes for summer? We always go in the offseason and usually with free dining or pin codes. We have never have gone in 16 trips in the summer!

We have already booked BWI-CL for March - but who specifically do we call to see if we might have a PIN under our name? Itinerary planning? Or the main Disney Reservation number?

I booked on 2/9. Yesterday I was emailed a 30% off pin code, so yes, it does happen. Doesnt help me though because I would have had to upgrade my room catagory to the point that the savings was minimal OR move to another resort and take a king room-which was not an option. So, you know, these pins, as much as we all wait and hope for them, aren't always what their cracked up to be.

Just gonna sit on what I have now and HOPE for FD.
